MiniMax M3 is a 428B multimodal MoE at commodity pricing — native text, image and video input with 1M context — while M2 remains the MIT-licensed budget option.
MiniMax builds the M-series open-weight models (OpenAI- and Anthropic-compatible APIs) plus consumer products. M3 (June 2026) is its current flagship with native multimodality and sparse attention.
